Northeast Texas Community College Professor and Honors Director Dr. Andrew Yox was recently presented with the David C. Deboe Award by the Texas State Historical Association (TSHA).
Theatre Northeast to perform 12 Angry Jurors
Theatre Northeast will present the tense courtroom drama†Twelve Angry Jurors †in the Studio Theatre of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Northeast Texas Community College. The show will run†April 26-28 at 7:30 p.m. and April 29 at 2:05 p.m.

NTCC Honors to host 4th annual poster contest

The Northeast Texas Community College Honors Program will host the 4th annual McGraw-Hill Poster Contest on Friday, April 27 at 9:30 a.m. in the Whatley Center foyer. The event is funded by McGraw-Hill companies.
Full-time students at NTCC, as well as seniors from area high schools, are welcome to compete.
Eagles soccer to hold open tryout
The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles soccer program will hold open tryouts for both the men?s and women?s teams on Saturday, April 28. Women?s tryouts are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and men?s tryouts are from 1-3 p.m. on the NTCC soccer field. Campus tours will follow. McCallum announces retirement from NTCC Board
Latrel McCallum announced her retirement from the Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees Tuesday evening.† In her letter to Board Chair Dr. Dan McCauley she expressed her pleasure to have served 14 years and pride in the many accomplishments achieved across that time.

NTCC faculty to honor top students
The faculty of Northeast Texas Community College will host the 20th Annual Student Awards Banquet on Thursday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The purpose of this banquet is to recognize student achievement by honoring outstanding students and alumni.
Students are nominated for awards by faculty members in four categories. The President's Academic Excellence Award is given to students who excel academically.

Tickets available for Ray Price concert
Tickets are still available for the Ray Price concert that will be held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College this Saturday.
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 each and reservations are recommended.
