NTCC announces 2012-2013 Honors students
The Northeast Texas Community College Honors Program is pleased to announce its Honors Students for the 2012-2013 schoolyear. This includes 11 Presidential Scholars and 12 Honors Scholars.
Tickets available for Jason Vieaux concert
Tickets are still available for the Jason Vieaux guitar concert that will be held Tuesday night (Oct. 2) at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for students.

Cypress Bank gives Honors laptop
B. Gooding, left, Vice President of Cypress Bank, recently presented Pittsburg High School graduate and Northeast Texas Community College Presidential Scholar, Ricky Huitema (right), with a laptop to use during his studies this year. This $1,000 gift to the NTCC Honors program marks the fifth year in a row that Cypress has supported a NTCC Scholar with the use of a new laptop. Tennison United Methodist Women give scholarship
The Tennison Memorial United Methodist Women recently gave a $500 scholarship to the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation. The group contributes a scholarship annually to help a deserving NTCC student offset college expenses. Marc Williams to speak in SUB 101 on Sept. 27
Marc Williams will speak at Northeast Texas Community College on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Building (SUB) room 101. Williams' visit comes as part of Multicultural and Career Awareness Week at NTCC. Williams was voted by CNN as one of the "Top 10 College Motivational Speakers" in the U.S. The session is open to all students and staff and there is no charge to attend.
NTCC receives $232,532 for mobile training lab
