NTCC Foundation scholarship applications are officially
The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $12,000 grant from an anonymous foundation to sponsor six students in the Work4College Program. An additional matching grant opportunity has effectively doubled the impact, resulting in a $24,000 contribution. This grant will be utilized to expand the reach of the Work4College Program. Filing for Place Four and Place Seven on the Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees began on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, and continues through 5 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2024. Filing applications are available from elections clerk Jimmy Smith in the NTCC Student Services Building from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Fridays. The deadline for filing an application will be extended to 5:00 p.m.
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College is pleased to announce that it has added a special performance by the popular a cappella country music group Home Free to its 2024 lineup. The concert will be held on Tuesday, March 26th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and $10 for NTCC students with ID and children 17 and under.
The Work4College Application is officially OPEN for the Summer of 2024! The Work4College Program is a great way to attend NTCC without acquiring debt and experience hands-on learning by working in a department on campus. The application is available to fill out and submit online at www.Work4College.com. The deadline to apply is April 12, 2024.

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College will kick off its 2024 entertainment schedule with a concert by Voices of Classic Soul on Friday, Jan. 19th at 7:30 p.m.
The Adult Education Department at Northeast Texas Community College is accepting new and returning students for its GED (General Educational Development) and ESL (English as a Second Language) programs. Those interested in participating in either of these free educational programs should call to make an appointment for registration beginning January 8, 2024. While classes are offered in various convenient locations around the area, all registration will be held at the Community Resource Center (formerly MPISD Administration Building) at 105 N.
