Psi Beta students spread joy at local assisted living
Members of NTCC'S chapter of the Psi Beta Honor Society created Valentine’s Day cards during social meetings earlier this semester. Neida Perez, Luke McGraw, Jonah McGraw, Aubrey Watkins, and Skylar Hodson (pictured) visited The Lodge Assisted Living & Memory Care in Mount Pleasant on Wednesday, February 14th to deliver the Valentine’s Day cards to residents. The staff and residents were excited to meet the students and greatly appreciated the cards.
Dr. Ron Clinton benefit piano concert planned for March 3rd
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College is pleased to announce that it will host a benefit piano concert by NTCC President Dr. Ron Clinton and violinist, Andre Daniel on Sunday, March 3rd at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for students. All proceeds from the concert will directly benefit the NTCC Foundation.
NTCC Board meets for regular February meeting
The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees met for its regular February meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 20th at 5:30 p.m. All trustees were present.
Foundation receives $1,000 for two new scholarships
The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $1,000 scholarship donation from Mr. Vernon Donaldson on behalf of the Sam Donaldson Memorial Scholarship Fund. The gift will provide two $500 scholarships that will be awarded for the Fall 2024 semester. One will be the Phyllis Autry Scholarship for nursing majors and the other will be the Sam Donaldson Memorial Scholarship for industrial technology majors. Rodeo to host alumni dinner & fundraiser
The Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo team will host the 3rd Annual Alumni Dinner and Fundraiser on Saturday March 2nd at The Pavilion at the Becky and Buddy McCollum Events Center on the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Grounds.
The evening will start at 5:30pm with a Social Hour. Texas Road House will be catering the event with the meal to start at 6:30pm and then a live auction and Calcutta Auction to follow the meal. Entertainment will be live music by Monty Tipps and the dance floor will be open.

Description of Job Duties:
Responsibilities include teaching hybrid Digital Photography and hybrid Digital Media in Fall and Spring, possibly teaching ARTS1301 hybrid during Fall and Spring, working with Instructional Technology to maintain hybrid courses, and maintaining communication with students.
