Three students complete Professional Driving Academy
The Northeast Texas Community College Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Three new students recently graduated from the program. Baseball announces spring schedule
The 2024 Northeast Texas Community College baseball schedule has been completed and includes a total of 55 games under head coach Andy Morgan. The schedule features 20 home dates (31 games) and 15 road dates (24 games). Of the 55 games, 30 are NJCAA Region 14 North Conference games, and 25 are non-conference games.
Nursing applications open for 2024-2025
The Northeast Texas Community College Nursing Program is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 academic year. The application, along with more information about the programs, is available at www.ntcc.edu/nursing. The deadlines are as follows:
MLT students visit LifeShare Blood Center
Second-year Medical Lab Technology (MLT) students took a field trip to LifeShare in Shreveport, LA this week. The students were able to learn about the blood donation process from donor requirements to collection. After donating blood, students toured components and hospital services.
Ag Program hosts Harvest Local workshop and tours
The NTCC Agriculture Department held a Harvest Local Workshop and Tour on Wednesday, Nov. 29th. Students from the Small Farming course served as guides and instructors to teach visitors about a variety of topics relevant to small farming in East Texas.
This served as their final project for the fall semester. Faculty, staff and community members were invited to attend. In addition to viewing student projects, guests were also given tours of the college farm.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reside in the residence hall and share on-call duties with the Director of Housing
• Work cooperatively with the recruitment and admissions office in student recruiting
• Create quality housing and softball programs which will attract students and student athletes to attend NTCC
• Assist with recruiting, organizing and practicing of players
• Assist in creating an atmosphere that encourages all students and community members to become involved with the softball program

NTCC Board holds November meeting
The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees met for its regular November meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 21st at 5:30 p.m.
