For their all-around excellence in the fall 2019 semester, the NTCC Honors Committee has promoted four NTCC Honors students to the rank of Presidential Scholar. This top-tier rank of Honors Northeast generally signals a high degree of scholarly creativity as well as persevering academic effort. The Presidential Scholarship that goes with this rank generally covers all tuition, fees, and books, making the cost of education negligible.

Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) completed the three game sweep of Pratt Junior College on Sunday by taking game three of the series 12-5. The game was moved up to an 11:00am start to get ahead of the rains that afternoon. The Eagles (3-4) would score early and often to gain win number three of the season.
The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Softball (2-7) team played two more game on Saturday in the Weatherford College Tournament. Game one the Eagles would lose game one to North Central Texas College (NCTC) 8-2 and the final game of the tournament to the host Weatherford, 11-7.
Thanks to contributions from Drs. Jim and Paula Archer, and Ned and Margaret Muse, the students and faculty of Honors Northeast had another remarkable cultural trip to Dallas, Friday, January 31.
Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Baseball made the trip out west to take on Weatherford College on Tuesday and despite a homerun in the first inning, the Eagles fell by a score of 12-2.
Weather forced the Northeast Texas Community College Eagles to move their season opening series to a road contest against 10th ranked Cowley County Community College this past weekend. After several days of rain, the field at NTCC was too wet to play on, so the Eagles hit the road to Arkansas City, Kansas for their 2020 season opener. The Eagles went 0-3 on the weekend against the nationally ranked Tigers.
Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is pleased to announce the addition of Connor Anderson to the Eagle Baseball coaching staff. Connor is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he also served as an assistant coach upon his graduation. Coach Anderson comes to NTCC from TCS Post Grad Academy in McKinney, Texas.
