Foundation hosts annual Scholarship Brunch

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation hosted its annual Scholarship Brunch on Friday, Nov. 1st in the Student Union Building. More than 200 donors, scholarship recipients and guests attended. The event is held to honor scholarship recipients and give them a chance to connect with the generous donors who make their awards possible. Click here to view/download event photos!

PTK students explore local folktales at the annual Bigfoot Conference in Jefferson

On October 19, Phi Theta Kappa students Alison Majors, Skylar Hodson, Sarah Dierflinger, Noah Pettey, Jordan Berkley, Remington Covey, Tristan Dierflinger, Araceli Landaverde, and Jose Fuentes traveled to Jefferson TX for the 22nd annual Bigfoot Conference. Jefferson has been dubbed both “the most haunted town in Texas” and the “Bigfoot Capitol of Texas,” and so it was the perfect place for our chapter to continue their research on local folktales.

Transfer Fair planned for November 5th

Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) will host a college Transfer Fair on Tuesday, November 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Union Building (SUB). NTCC students who plan to transfer to a university are encouraged to attend, and the public is welcome as well.

The fair will provide a chance to meet representatives from many universities and colleges. Students can ask questions about academic programs, transfer requirements, scholarships, and campus life.

Continuing Education offers career training opportunities in spring 2025

The Continuing Education Department at Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is pleased to announce upcoming short-term career training programs for individuals interested in gaining job-ready skills in high-demand fields. Beginning in January, NTCC will offer training in several essential areas, designed to prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce. Financial aid is available for those who qualify, and flexible payment plans are offered to make these programs accessible.

Work4College program expands to fall semester

Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is pleased to announce that the Work4College Program has expanded from a summer-only initiative to a year-round opportunity. This innovative program now offers students valuable work experience throughout the academic year.

NTCC proudly introduces the inaugural fall semester participants: Pablo Badillo-Navarro, Juan Benzor, Collin Pressgrove, and Ethan Wagner. These students are already making a positive impact on campus through various beautification projects, creating a more vibrant environment for the entire NTCC community.
