Republican Candidate Forum to be held at NTCC
A Republican Candidate Forum will be held at Northeast Texas Community College Tuesday, Feb. 2. The event will be held in Room 101 of the Student Union Building (SUB) at 6 p.m. and is sponsored by the Republican Parties of Camp, Morris and Titus Counties.
January 25 Construction Update
The parking lot lane directly in front of UHS and Humanities will be closed to through traffic beginning this afternoon through next seven working days. This means traffic from the west side of campus (behind SUB, BT, Criminal Justice and Shelby) will need to exit by way of the outside lane.
Helen Hampton sponsors Pinkalicious musical
Helen Hampton recently gave $3,000 to sponsor the upcoming production of the children?s musical Pinkalicious at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College. She is pictured (second from left) presenting the donation to Nita May, NTCC Director of Development (left), Carolyn Franks, Director of the Whatley Center, and Lori Hunter, Administrative Assistant to the VP for Advancement and Financial Aid Advisor. The event is scheduled for April 3 at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children.

- The south side of UHS will be accessible, but barricaded

Congressman Ratcliffe discusses cybersecurity with Police Academy cadets
Police Academy cadets at Northeast Texas Community College gained first-hand insight into the national fight against cyber terrorism Thursday. Aspiring law enforcement officers, along with other students and college personnel, heard a candid presentation from Congressman John Ratcliffe, who represents the fourth district of Texas in the United States House of Representatives.†

Archers support Honors Northeast
Jim and Paula Archer recently contributed $1,000 to the Honors Northeast program at Northeast Texas Community College. A matching gift from IBM brought the total gift to $2,000. †The gift will be used to fund cultural trips for scholars in Honors Northeast.

Art Department to host painting exhibit
The Northeast Texas Community College Art Department will host its first art exhibit of the year February 8-25 in the foyer of the Whatley Center†for the Performing Arts.
