March 3 Construction Update
- Power will be cut off in the Administration building beginning at 1 p.m. Friday afternoon
- Expect to see demolition starting early this Friday between the BT and IT building up to the walkway.
- Please DO NOT park in the lot between IT and Welding Friday, as demolition will begin sometime tomorrow.
- Construction will continue from the IT/BT area around the LRC during spring break.

NTCC students named to 2016 Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team
Two Northeast Texas Community College students were recently named to the 2016 Coca-Cola College Academic Team. Isaac Burris was named a Coca-Cola Gold Scholar and Morgan Capps was named a Coca-Cola Gold Silver Scholar.†The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation sponsors the Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team program by recognizing 50 Gold, 50 Silver and 50 Bronze Scholars, and providing nearly $200,000 in scholarships annually.
NTCC closed March 7-11 for spring break
Northeast Texas Community College will be closed Monday, March 7†through Friday, March 11 for spring break. Classes and offices will resume regular business hours on Monday, March 14. In case of an emergency on campus during this time, please contact security at 903-434-8127.
NTCC Culinary Arts selling tickets for March 24 dinner night
† † † The Northeast Texas Community College Culinary Arts Program will host a special Thursday Night Dinner on March 24. The dinner will be held at the NTCC Culinary School in historic downtown Pittsburg and is open to the public. Tickets go on sale Monday, March 14.
† † † Due to to high demand at previous events, the Culinary Arts Program has moved to a ticketed event rather than first-come-first-served.
New printing stations available on campus
NTCC now has a new, convenient way for students and visitors to print documents on campus! The new WEPA print stations allow students to create and send a print job from any device and print their documents at any one of the four w?pa print stations which are located in the Caddo CafÈ, LRC and the lobbies of Student Housing East and Student Housing West. Beginning this spring, history students at Northeast Texas Community College will have the opportunity to compete for the first annual Bonnie Spencer Prize. In addition to a grade, students will be able to enter their U.S.
