On Thursday, October 20, 2022, 11 NTCC students were inducted into Psi Beta, the national honor society in psychology for community colleges.

John Harmon, a doctoral candidate at Lipscomb University, will be presenting recent research relative to the reigns of Israel’s greatest Old Testament kings. The lecture will occur in Humanities 101 from 12:25 to 1:20 PM on Thursday, 10 November.

The Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo team made the trek down to South Louisiana for the McNeese State University Rodeo in Lake Charles, Louisiana October 28th-29th.

The literary and art magazine prominently displays the work of creative writers, traditional and digital artists throughout its pages.

The NTCC Webb Society, comprised mainly of students of Honors Northeast, presented their eighth trailer of an upcoming film at a fall meeting of the State Walter Prescott Webb Society, 14 October, in Nacogdoches.

This is a great opportunity to explore the U.S. capital while earning college credit. An informational session is planned for Monday, Nov. 9th at 12:30 p.m. in Humanities 107.

It may still be October, but the Hallmark Channel is already gearing up for the holiday season with their Countdown to Christmas movie schedule. NTCC's own Page Petrucka, Associate Professor of Theatre, will appear in the network's latest release, A Cozy Christmas Inn.

Mark your calendars for a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Choctaw history and culture from tribal member Ryan Spring and Tribal Archaeologist Dr. Kim Hinson. The event will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15th from 12:30-1:30 in Humanities 101. A taste of Tanchi Labona, a traditional Choctaw dish, will be provided as well. Question and answer session after presentation. Faculty, staff, students, and members of the community are welcome!
