The 2024 Northeast Texas Community College baseball schedule has been completed and includes a total of 55 games under head coach Andy Morgan. The schedule features 20 home dates (31 games) and 15 road dates (24 games). Of the 55 games, 30 are NJCAA Region 14 North Conference games, and 25 are non-conference games.
The NTCC Agriculture Department held a Harvest Local Workshop and Tour on Wednesday, Nov. 29th. Students from the Small Farming course served as guides and instructors to teach visitors about a variety of topics relevant to small farming in East Texas. This served as their final project for the fall semester.
The NTCC Art Department hosted a reception on Wednesday, Nov. 30th to celebrate local quilters who displayed their work in this year's quilt exhibit in the Whatley Center foyer. Each year, the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation awards more than 150 scholarships to help students achieve their educational goals. The funds for these scholarships come from generous individuals, companies, foundations, civic organizations, etc. Scholarships are competitive and awarded based on a variety of criteria including a personal essay.
