marans gift check presentation

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $20,000 gift from the East Texas Communities Foundation (ETCF). The funds were made available to the College by the ETCF through a planned gift from the estate of the late Burt and Nancy Marans, formerly of Pittsburg.

I would like to take a minute to make you aware of our Eagle Food Pantry located at the Wesley Fellowship building. This program is set up by the Social Work Program to help meet any food insecurity needs of all our currently enrolled NTCC students and their families.

She was the first honors student to win an REU summer fellowship, and the first to present at a professional association—the American Chemical Society, which she attended along with Drs. Jim and Paula Archer in March of 2009.
