For the sixth and seventh time in NTCC history, scholars of Honors Northeast have won Britt Poster Awards of the Great Plains Honors Council (GPHC). Aaliyah Avellaneda a first-year student, won in the social science division for first- and second-year students, while Quinones won in the STEM division (Science-Technology-Engineering-and-Medicine) for the same freshman-sophomore category.
A&M-Texarkana at NTCC and Communities In Schools (CIS) are teaming up for a "Fresh and Clean for Spring" drive. They are seeking donations of personal care items to be distributed through the NTCC Eagle Pantry and to area school children served by CIS.

Northeast Texas Community College baseball headed to Paris, Texas on Saturday, March 17 to play games two and three of the three game series with PJC. NTCC would be victorious in game two, 6-4, before losing the final game 10-8.
Northeast Texas Community College softball hosted Carl Albert State College in a double header on Wednesday and came away with two wins, NTCC won game one 7-3 and game two 14-8.
Northeast Texas Community College Baseball player Cole Modgling was named this weeks Longview Orthopaedic Athlete of the week. Cole is a sophomore from Castroville, Texas and has been playing extremely well this season.

The NTCC Continuing Education department will host a Computers for Senior Adults class April 6-27. It will be held Tuesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. on the NTCC main campus.
Stressed about the future of your personal finances? You won’t want to miss the Mad City Reality Fair Simulation event scheduled for March 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Student Union Building. NTCC Student Services and Financial Literacy will host this (free) exciting, interactive exercise to help students learn more about managing their personal finances. Free pizza will be served and gift card prizes will be given away!
The Northeast Texas Community College Continuing Education and Agriculture Departments have teamed up to offer another great class for the community. A Spring Pruning and Replanting Workshop will be held on Thursday, April 1 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the NTCC Ag Complex (across FM 1735 from the main campus).
