One Christmas Night in Memphis, the exciting holiday version of the official and number one tribute to Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash will be appearing live at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
The NTCC Marketing Department is pleased to announce the release of the College's latest promotional video. Many thanks to EMS student, Landry Reeves, for her outstanding performance in the commercial. We would also like to thank Kyle Shovan, videographer/editor, and Russell VanBibber, Gary Short and other EMS Program students for their assistance with the production.

The NTCC Art Department hosted a reception on Wednesday, Nov. 30th to celebrate local quilters who displayed their work in this year's quilt exhibit in the Whatley Center foyer. For the seventh year, quilters brought their treasured art to share with the community. Those who displayed work throughout the month of November included:

The Northeast Texas Community College Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Three new students recently graduated from the program. The 2024 Northeast Texas Community College baseball schedule has been completed and includes a total of 55 games under head coach Andy Morgan. The schedule features 20 home dates (31 games) and 15 road dates (24 games). Of the 55 games, 30 are NJCAA Region 14 North Conference games, and 25 are non-conference games.
The Northeast Texas Community College Nursing Program is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 academic year. The application, along with more information about the programs, is available at www.ntcc.edu/nursing. The deadlines are as follows:
Second-year Medical Lab Technology (MLT) students took a field trip to LifeShare in Shreveport, LA this week. The students were able to learn about the blood donation process from donor requirements to collection. After donating blood, students toured components and hospital services.
The NTCC Agriculture Department held a Harvest Local Workshop and Tour on Wednesday, Nov. 29th. Students from the Small Farming course served as guides and instructors to teach visitors about a variety of topics relevant to small farming in East Texas.
This served as their final project for the fall semester. Faculty, staff and community members were invited to attend. In addition to viewing student projects, guests were also given tours of the college farm.
