NTCC sees 2.5% enrollment growth
Northeast Texas Community College†grew by another 2.5% this Spring, continuing a rapid growth pattern which has existed since 2008.† A recent†preliminary enrollment report†shows 3,159 students enrolled for the Spring 2012 semester.

Eagles host free baseball/softball kids camp, Ks for Kids Day on Saturday
The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles baseball and softball teams will host a special Ks for Kids Day at the ballpark on Saturday, Feb. 18.
The day will begin with a free kids camp at 10 a.m., followed by home doubleheaders for NTCC baseball and softball. In addition to offering a day of fun for the whole family, this event will mark the official kickoff of the Ks for Kids campaign, which will raise funds for the Women and Children's Center at Titus Regional Medical Center.

Masters of Motown to perform at Whatley Center this Thursday

NTCC to host Black History Month events

Northeast Texas Community College will recognize Black History Month with two separate events during February.
The Brother To Brother Organization will host the "Outspoken African American History" program as a way to pay tribute to African American heroes throughout history.
The event will be held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on February 22 from noon to 1 p.m.

Charlie and Helen Hampton give $20,000 to Whatley Campaign
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie and Helen Hampton of Naples recently gave $20,000 to benefit the Campaign for the Whatley at Northeast Texas Community College. First class completes NTCC Industrial Technology Program
The Northeast Texas Community College Industrial Technology Program recently held a graduation celebration for the first class of students to complete the level 1 certificate in the new program. AEP SWEPCO gives $1000 for scholarships
Kenny Hawkins, Customer Service Representative†for AEP SWEPCO in Mount Pleasant (left) recently presented a check for $1,000 to Dr. Jonathan McCullough, Northeast Texas Community College Vice President for Advancement. Eagles split matchup with Grayson County
The Eagles split another double-header Wednesday as they took on Grayson County College in Dennison.
After suffering an 8-0 loss in the opening game of the day, the Eagles bounced back with a 3-2 victory in the second contest.
Christina Martin helped lead NTCC to victory in the second game as she was 2-3 at the plate while Katie Holcomb and Hannah Holovach both had a hit and each scored a run in the win.

NTCC to host diversity program
Northeast Texas Community College will present speaker Justin Jones-Fosu for "ACT Responsibly: The Diversity Edition" on Monday, February 20 from noon to 1 p.m. in Student Union Building room 101.
