The annual Northeast Texas Poetry Reading on Friday, 6 September at 11 AM will again occur at the Foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the Northeast Texas Community College campus. The NTCC women's soccer team started strong against traditional powerhouse Richland JC on Friday night in Dallas. The Eagles kept pace with the Thunderducks scoring off of a free-kick to keep the score close throughout much of the first half. The Eagles could not get over the hump despite making it a contest in the first half and keeping the score a respectable 3-1. Eventually, the Thunderducks would round into form and put the game away in the 2nd half, taking home a 7-1 victory in the season opener for both clubs...
