Adult Education offers summer Fast Track GED classes
The Northeast Texas Community College Adult Education Department is offering free Fast Track GED classes this summer at the Hanson-Sewell Center in Pittsburg. Classes will be held July 9 through 30 with both morning and evening options. Register now through July 3 by calling 903-434-8341.
TRMC Auxiliary gives NTCC scholarships
The Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC) Auxiliary recently presented the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation with $4,500, which will provide six $750 scholarships to benefit students at NTCC majoring in a health sciences field. Babies help teach PTA students about neurodevelopment
Northeast Texas Community College Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) students recently conducted their neurodevelopmental lab and were privileged to work with actual babies of various ages. The students learned about normal development milestones and reflexes in their Management Of Neurological Disorders course. Employees from across the campus, as well as student family members, graciously “volunteered” their precious little ones for the lab.

East Texas Barbershop Chorus Tour set to stop at Whatley Center
The Barbershop Chorus Tour featuring East Texas Men in Harmony will perform at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on June 8 at 2 p.m. (full details in flyer). They always put on a great show and feature several local singers.
