Northeast Texas Community College will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 27th through Friday, Nov. 29th for the Thanksgiving holiday. We hope everyone has a wonderful break spending time with friends and family. Students can still register online, make payments and more in the myEagle portal during the holiday closure. Offices will reopen on Monday, Dec. 2nd.
Have you always wanted to get your real estate license? If so, now is the time! Northeast Texas Community College has teamed up with The CE Shop to provide our students the courses required for obtaining and retaining their Texas real estate license.
The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation is pleased to announce that eight NTCC employees have been awarded funds through the 2023 Whatley Employee Enhancement Grant. The Foundation received 16 outstanding applications. A total of $13,039.99 was awarded through the grant or by additional private donors.
The holiday season is officially here and what better way to get into the spirit than to enjoy Christmas with The New York Tenors at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The concert, sponsored by Cypress Bank, will be held on Monday, Dec. 9th at 7:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy their favorite Christmas classics brought to you by stars of Carnegie Hall Daniel Rodriguez, Andy Cooney and Christopher Macchio.

The NTCC Ag Club, established in Fall 2008, continues to serve as a cornerstone for students passionate about agriculture. The Northeast Texas Community College Vocational Nursing (VN) program recently learned that 100% of its graduates from August 2024 passed their NCLEX-PN examinations. This marks the fourth year in a row that the VN program has had a 100% pass rate.
“This is a true testament to the dedication and hard work of our instructors and the excellence of our students. I’m incredibly proud of this accomplishment, and I look forward to seeing how we can continue to grow and strengthen our program,” Dr. Charla Denman, NTCC Director of Nursing Programs, said.
Students from the Carroll Shelby Automotive Program at Northeast Texas Community College attended the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada last week. In addition to attending one of the largest automotive trade shows in the world, students also had the opportunity to attend a special event at the Carroll Shelby Heritage Center at the invitation of Shelby American and the Carroll Shelby Foundation.
