Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant supports NTCC iCan Kids Discovery College

The Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant recently presented a check for $2,536 to the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation to support the upcoming iCan Kids Discovery College that will be held this summer. J.T. and Kaye Brison give NTCC scholarship

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $500 gift from J.T. and Kaye Brison to support the Brison-Crosby Education Scholarship. The scholarship fund is in memory of Kaye?s grandmother, Hettie Agnes Crosby, and will be awarded to an education major attending NTCC. Texas Heritage National Bank sponsors Honors Northeast scholarship

Texas Heritage National Bank recently presented the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation with $4,000 to sponsor a Presidential Scholar in Honors Northeast. The NTCC honors program was founded in 2007 and has attracted top high school graduates from around the region. Woodmen of the World endow NTCC scholarship in memory of Beau Brummell

The Woodmen of the World organization recently presented a check for $25,000 to the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation.† These funds will be used to establish The Beau Brummell Woodmen of the World Endowed Scholarship, which will provide an annual scholarship for a local student attending NTCC each year. Jim and Paula Archer sponsor Greater Tuna at the Whatley Center

Doctors Jim and Paula Archer (center) recently gave $3,000 to sponsor the upcoming performance of Greater Tuna at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Northeast Texas Community College. Pineywoods Iris Society gives NTCC scholarship

The Pineywoods Iris Society recently held a meeting at the Elizabeth Hoggatt Whatley Agriculture Center at Northeast Texas Community College. The group presented a check for $500 to the NTCC Foundation in order to provide a scholarship for an NTCC agriculture student. AEP/SWEPCO recently gave $1,000 to sponsor the upcoming Engineer Roundtable at Northeast Texas Community College. JT and Kaye Brison sponsor Restless Heart at Whatley Center

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College recently received a $3,000 donation from J.T. and Kaye Brison. The Brisons are pictured with Carolyn Franks, Director of the Whatley Center (left). The funds were used to sponsor the performance of Restless Heart on Friday, February 10. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and limited tickets are still available by calling the Whatley Box Office at 903-434-8181. Seats are $30 for adults and $10 for NTCC students and children 17 and under.

NTCC receives $100,000 endowed agriculture scholarship

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $100,000 gift to establish the Charlie and Abbie Brown Memorial Scholarship. The endowment will provide scholarships for Mount Vernon High School graduates attending NTCC and majoring in agriculture.
