Medical Assistant Students give back on Veteran's Day

Northeast Texas Community College Medical Assistant students recently gave back to the community by helping to feed those who have served our country at a special Veteran’s Day event at PE Wallace Middle School in Mount Pleasant. This is just one of many activities Medical Assistant (MA) students participate in outside of the classroom. The program is currently accepting applications for the spring semester.

It's time to enroll for December intersession

The holiday break is right around the corner and that means December intersession classes start soon! The 5-week mini term begins December 12 and ends on January 10. The classes are all online.

Santa is coming to NTCC!

The NTCC Business Club is pleased to announce that they will host a very special guest on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Student Union Building. Santa himself will be in attendance to take pictures with your little ones! They will even have a chance to make a keepsake ornament with Santa's elves. Mark your calendar, because you won't want to miss this fun opportunity.

A&M-Texarkana at NTCC, CIS hosts annual Christmas Drive

Texas A&M University-Texarkana at NTCC's Student Advisory Council and Education Club and Communities In Schools is hosting an annual Christmas Drive Nov. 11 through Dec. 5. They are seeking new items for children and teens in the community, including toys, clothes, undergarments, electronics, board games, jackets, makeup and hair accessories, socks, shoes, hoodies, etc. 

Please drop off items in UHS 113 or at the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce.

Foundation hosts annual Scholarship Brunch

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation was pleased to host the annual Scholarship Brunch on Friday, Nov. 1. This event brings scholarship donors and recipients together to meet each other and celebrate another year of outstanding students and generous giving. The Foundation currently awards more than 130 scholarships (many with multiple recipients) that are privately funded by individuals, organizations and businesses. Foundation scholarships are competitive and students must complete an application and essay in order to be considered.
