Northeast Texas Community College will host its August 2024 commencement ceremony on Friday, Aug. 16th in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 7 p.m. Seating is limited, so only guests who have tickets will be admitted into the auditorium. Graduation will be streamed live on Youtube and Facebook for those who are unable to attend in person.
Members of Alpha Mu Chi, NTCC’s five-star, award-winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, won 4 of 13 prestigious Texas Star regional scholarships given out at the 2024 Phi Theta Kappa Texas Honors Institute held July 26-28 at Texas Women’s University in Denton. The scholarships are available to members of Phi Theta Kappa throughout the state of Texas, with awards based on demonstrated leadership and academic excellence. NTCC students won the top four spots in the state.
Eight members of Alpha Mu Chi, NTCC’s five-star, award winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, attended the Phi Theta Kappa Texas Honors Institute July 26 - 28 on the campus of Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas. During the conference attendees stayed in dorms on the TWU campus and ate in the campus dining hall. All sessions were held on the beautiful tree-filled campus.

The Student Services Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to a diverse range of individuals, including students, guests, faculty, and staff within the college's student services center. This role demands a deep understanding of customer service principles and practices, along with excellent interpersonal, decision-making and exceptional planning and organizational skills.

The fall semester is just around the corner and that means that our Eagles Softball team will be back in action soon. The fall schedule is hot off the presses and Coach Haley Colwell has lined up some great competition to get the ladies ready for their spring season. Check out their upcoming schedule below:
The NTCC Work4College Program celebrated the end of summer with its annual appreciation luncheon on Wednesday, July 31st. Work4College donors, supervisors, students and their families attended the event in the Student Union Building. This is the 10th year of the program, and more than 85 students participated.
