Community Services of Northeast Texas, Inc.

Community Services division handles Salvation Army funds, the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP), and Case Management for the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). Food pantries, as well as fan and coat drives, are part of the division's responsibilities. CSNT, Inc. maintains eight outreach offices that help low-income families in Bowie, Camp, Cass, Hopkins, Lamar, Marion, Morris, and Titus counties. CSNT, Inc. may help transients and local customers with accommodation, meals, gas, electricity, and medications thanks to Salvation Army donations.

God's Closet

God's Closet / Camp County Cares provides food, clothing, and Senior Boxes to Camp Co citizens and current NTCC students. 

Food distribution is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 am -11:30 a.m.

 

The Blessing Box

The Blessing Box is a retail shop and food pantry that is run by a non-profit organization. They depend solely on monetary and in-kind donations from the general public. When finances are available, they can also help with federal assistance.

Pittsburg Housing Authority

The Pittsburg Housing Authority is a government entity based in Pittsburg, Texas, that operates and oversees public housing in Camp County. The Housing Authority is in charge of low-income housing, including the application procedure, eligibility requirements, and resources. The Housing Authority, fprovides low-income housing subsidies, provide information on public housing programs, and provide information on other services for qualified Camp County residents.

Did you know that one in five East Texans, are hungry today?  Texas has a higher rate of food insecurity, one that's higher than the national average. That means it is more difficult for our students, colleagues and community members to put food on the table.
