Northeast Texas Community College celebrated August 2021 commencement on Friday, Aug. 13. The ceremony was held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Graduates received a total of 76 degrees and 53 certificates of competency. The event was streamed live on YouTube and Facebook. It allows full-time Rv’ers to exchange work for rent. Retirees and disabled workers can share their considerable experience and talents to help NTCC on a wide variety of projects, including landscaping, painting, farming, electrical, plumbing, and computer support.

The Northeast Texas Community College Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams arrived back to campus to begin practice on August 10, 2021. After a crazy year of cancellations, moving the season from fall to spring, the Eagles are looking forward to playing a fall schedule again.

Fredia is the Director of Adult Education and has dedicated many years furthering the cause of adult literacy and helping countless individuals achieve their GED and to learn English as a Second Language.

NTCC is excited to announce a new Cyber Security Micro Credential program that will kick off in Spring 2022. This one-semester certificate will prepare students for an exciting career in a rapidly-growing field that is in high-demand from companies in this region and beyond. Full scholarships are available to students who act now!
The Mount Pleasant Economic Development Corporation (MPEDC) recently presented Northeast Texas Community College with a check for $25,000. The funds are being used to provide scholarships to assist residents of Mount Pleasant and Titus County with tuition for NTCC’s Professional Driving Academy. According to Smith, the demand for trained CDL drivers is especially high in this area.
Megan Folk, Fatima Fuentes, and Skylar Fondren (pictured), students at Northeast Texas Community College, were among the nation’s 207 Phi Theta Kappa members named as 2020 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholars and will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.
