What started as an out-of-the-box idea by NTCC Navigator, Ja'Quacy Minter, ended with the NTCC Student Services building and beyond being transformed into a festive "Registration Express" train station, blending the magic of The Polar Express with the importance of spring registration.
Thursday, November 30th, second year MLT students braved the rain to tour the laboratory at Titus Regional Medical Center. They were able to see first hand how the skills they’ve been learning throughout their time at NTCC will be used. Titus Regional has two Sysmex hematology analyzers for fast and accurate complete blood counts. Laboratory Director, LeeAnn Harlow, explained how Titus moved to high sensitivity troponin testing for patients being evaluated for myocardial infarctions.
The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles Softball team recently announced it's schedule for the spring 2024 season. Led by head coach, Haley Colwell, the Eagles will kick off their schedule with a doubleheader against East Texas Baptist University in Marshall on January 27th.

One Christmas Night in Memphis, the exciting holiday version of the official and number one tribute to Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash will be appearing live at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m.

The NTCC Art Department hosted a reception on Wednesday, Nov. 30th to celebrate local quilters who displayed their work in this year's quilt exhibit in the Whatley Center foyer. The Northeast Texas Community College Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Three new students recently graduated from the program. The 2024 Northeast Texas Community College baseball schedule has been completed and includes a total of 55 games under head coach Andy Morgan. The schedule features 20 home dates (31 games) and 15 road dates (24 games). Of the 55 games, 30 are NJCAA Region 14 North Conference games, and 25 are non-conference games.
