Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is pleased to announce the launch of the Daingerfield Community Scholarship, an exciting new opportunity that guarantees two years of college funding for all 2025 graduates of Daingerfield High School.

This scholarship, made possible through the generosity of an anonymous family foundation, is designed to remove financial barriers and open doors to higher education for students in the Daingerfield community.

The Daingerfield Community Scholarship will cover up to 15 credit hours of in-district tuition and fees per semester for two years (four consecutive fall and spring semesters) for all 2025 Daingerfield High School graduates who enroll at NTCC the fall semester following graduation. The scholarship is open to students pursuing both university transfer degrees and workforce training programs.

“Finances should never stand in the way of a student’s potential,” said Dr. Jon McCullough, NTCC Executive Vice President for Advancement. “This scholarship is an incredible opportunity for Daingerfield students, and we’re proud to be part of a solution that ensures money isn’t an obstacle to attending college.”

To be eligible, students must graduate from Daingerfield High School in 2025, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and enroll at NTCC for the fall semester immediately following graduation. Students must apply for the Daingerfield Community Scholarship online at www.ntcc.edu/dcs using the code Daingerfield2025.

NTCC offers a wide range of programs in fields such as nursing, agriculture, electrical technology, medical assisting, welding, culinary arts, and more—providing many pathways to rewarding careers or university transfer.

“We would love to see the entire Daingerfield High School class of 2025 take advantage of this scholarship,” McCullough said.  Whether they sign up for a one-semester workforce certificate that teaches in-demand job skills, or they work toward an associate degree to transfer to a university – we truly have something for everyone.”
