Northeast Texas Community College’s Continuing Education and Corporate Training department recently celebrated the completion of its HVAC Installer Helper Certificate Program with a special ceremony honoring 14 graduates. The 13-week, 140-hour program provided students with hands-on training and essential foundational knowledge to begin a career in the HVAC industry.
Led by instructor Daniel Pierce, the program included classroom instruction, practical lab experiences, and guest lectures from local HVAC company representatives who shared real-world insights and advice. The course was designed to meet industry needs and prepare participants for immediate entry-level employment.
Jimmy Smith, Director of Continuing Education and Corporate Training, shared his enthusiasm at the event, saying, “We’re incredibly proud of these students. They’ve invested time and effort into a high-demand field, and we look forward to seeing them succeed in the workforce.”
Instructor Daniel Pierce echoed that sentiment, adding, “This group came ready to learn. They were dedicated and driven, and I have no doubt they’ll make a strong impact in the HVAC industry.”
