NTCC is pleased to announce that the 2024 Scare Affair event was a huge success! The event raised more than $8,500 in ticket sales from 34 engaging booths and games. More than one ton of candy was distributed to the community.
"This was one of our top-producing community events to date. We appreciate everyone who came out to support our student organizations and enjoy the fun," Kim Irvin, NTCC Associate Vice President for Student and Outreach Services, said.
This was the 36th year NTCC has hosted Scare Affair. Hundreds of families from around the area attend, making it the largest event NTCC hosts annually. Student organizations set up games, food booths, face painting and more to raise money to support their extracurricular activities.
"This event would not have been possible without the contributions from our faculty, staff, students, and volunteers who invested time and energy into creating an unforgettable experience for our community. Scare Affair is a shining example of our commitment to fostering strong community connections, and it’s wonderful to see this level of support and engagement," Irvin said.
NTCC looks forward to continuing this tradition of fun, community spirit, and campus pride!
