Stone sculptures on display at Whatley Center
The Northeast Texas Community College art department is currently hosting an art exhibit by stone sculptor Stacy Deslatte of Longview. The display, which runs through March 7, is featured in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on the NTCC campus. The exhibit is open free to the public during regular business hours. Deslatte (left) is pictured above with Dr. Kim Wommack, NTCC Professor of Art and Division Director for Creative and Performing Arts in front of "Royal Demeanor," one of the sculptures on display.
Tickets still available for Sinbad performance
Tickets are still available to see Sinbad's live comedy performance at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts Friday at 7 p.m.†The show is sponsored by Guaranty Bond Bank. Tickets are $50 for rows A-B,†$35 for rows C-K, and $30 for rows L-O (no group discounts).
Actor and Comedian Sinbad arrived on the comedy scene with a ?hit ?em in†the face? style of comedy that has kept audiences laughing in the aisles†for over the past two decades.

Theatre Northeast presents female version of The Odd Couple
Theatre Northeast will present†The Odd Couple†(female version), Neil Simon?s 1985 adaptation of his Tony Award-winning Broadway comedy, at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts October 31 through November 3. Evening performances will be held at 7:30 on Oct. 31, Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 and there will be a 2:05 p.m. Matinee on Nov. 3.

Whiskey Myers, Bri Bagwell to perform at Whatley Center
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts will host an evening of Texas Country on Tuesday, Sept. 24 with a double-feature concert including Whiskey Myers and Bri Bagwell.
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $5 for students and $15 for adults. The show is general admission and reservations are recommended, but not required. Call 903-434-8181 to hold your tickets.
