The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation held its annual Golf Classic Monday, Oct. 22 at Princedale Country Club in Pittsburg. The tournament raised more than $5,000 to support the NTCC Work Scholarship Program.
The tournament ended in a tie with the Cypress Bank and Daingerfield Country Club teams both shooting 15 under. After a scorecard tie breaker, Daingerfield Country Club was declared the official winner.
Businesses that participated or helped sponsor the event included American National Bank, Bowie Cass Electric Cooperative, Cypress Bank, Guaranty Bank and Trust, Daingerfield Country Club, Kathy Diduch with Wealth Planning Advisors, Inc., Princedale Country Club, Region VIII Education Service Center, Texas Heritage National Bank, and Wilf and Henderson, P.C.
“We really appreciate everyone who came out to support the Work Scholarship Program at the Golf Classic. It’s a fun way to make a real difference in the lives of students right here in our community,” Dr. Jonathan McCullough, NTCC Executive Vice President for Advancement, said.
