Santa took time out of his busy schedule to bring Christmas cheer to Northeast Texas Community College last week! The man himself visited the Student Union Building on December 5th and 6th to take photos with kids of all ages. He also brought some of his elves to serve milk and cookies and make fun Christmas crafts.
"We had such a great time hosting Santa. It was a lot of fun seeing the excitement in the kids' eyes. I'd like to thank all of the "elves" that helped make it possible. I realize that they have a very busy schedule this time of year," Ja'Quacy Minter, Director of Student Development, said.
The events were hosted by the Student Services team and other volunteers from around campus helped make it a success.
"Many of our students and employees are parents to young children and this was a fun way for us to offer something for the whole family to enjoy," Minter said.
