Scare Affair raises almost $7,500

Shooting "zombies" was just one of the fun games available at Scare Affair. 

Northeast Texas Community College held its 35th annual Scare Affair Halloween event on Saturday, Oct. 21st. Scare Affair is the college's top fundraising event of the year for student organizations. Almost $7,500

was raised by student clubs. 

"We ended up having great weather this year and it was fun to see so many families on our campus. We appreciate all of the clubs who made it happen and everyone who attended," Kaymon Farmer, Director of Student Development and Inclusion, said. 

Cash prizes were awarded for the top costumes of the evening. Winners in the kids category were Swayde Lacaze (1st) & Liam Taylor (2nd). Sophia Segura won first in the adult contest & Precious Vesley came in 2nd.
