Did you know that thousands of patients with blood cancers could be cured with a blood stem cell or marrow donation from a genetically matched donor? The NTCC Nursing program wants to help increase the odds of these patients finding a match by hosting a National Marrow Donor Program "Be The Match" event on Wednesday, March 8th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Building. Anyone who is between the ages of 18 and 40 who is in good health and willing to donate to anyone in need is encouraged to stop by to participate. The collection process for "Be The Match" is a simple, painless cheek swab. Text BIC to 61474 or click here to register.
