It is estimated that more than 7.5 million Texans speak Spanish - and that continues to climb. Are you one of that number? If not, now is your chance to learn Conversational Spanish! The NTCC Continuing Education department is offering beginner, intermediate and advanced Conversational Spanish classes at the Super Bueno store in Mount Pleasant. Iris Marino is the instructor.
Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The beginner class runs September 11th through October 4th, the intermediate class is October 9th through November 1st and the advanced class is November 6th through 15th and November 27th - December 6th. Students are welcome to sign up for all three if they would like to take the entire sequence.
"Being fluent in Spanish is a valuable skill in Texas - both socially and in the workplace. This is an excellent opportunity to learn among native speakers and get a taste of Hispanic culture at the Super Bueno," Jimmy Smith, Director of Continuing Education and Corporate Training, said.
