The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation held its 2023 Scholarship Brunch on Friday, Nov. 3rd in the Student Union Building. The annual event is an opportunity to celebrate both scholarship donors and student recipients.
During the brunch, Raul Leija, a second-year nursing student, gave a short speech thanking donors on behalf of the students. Julie Ratliff, NTCC Professor of English and Coordinator of Developmental English, spoke on behalf of the donors. She established a scholarship in the name of her parents, Mary Ann and Bill Ratliff, several years ago.
