The Northeast Texas Community College Continuing Education and Corporate Training department is pleased to announce a training partnership with Advanced Dental Assistant School in Naples. Their 15-week program prepares students for a career as a Professional Expanded Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Students who enroll through the NTCC partnership may be eligible for $1,000 in financial aid.
“Advanced Dental Assistant School is doing a great job of training dental assistants to help meet the demand of our region. We are happy to partner with them in order to help eligible students offset some of the costs associated with the program,” Jimmy Smith, Coordinator of Continuing Education and Corporate Training, said.
Classes are held at 103 Willis Street in Naples. Day classes are offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Tuesday-Saturday. Evening classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-9 p.m. Classes are small, with between five and 11 students, and 95% of the program consists of hands-on training. Students as young as 17 can participate with a parent’s permission.
