The Agriculture and Continuing Education departments will host a series of Backyard Farm Life classes this spring. The courses are designed to be an introduction or refresher for those interested in backyard farming practices. Classes include:
Starting Your Own Backyard Homestead: 2/2 - 4/27/21 Tuesdays, 3:00 - 5:00 pm Cost: $120
Goad Herding and Raising 101: 2/4 - 2/25/21 Thursdays 3:00 - 5:00 pm Cost: $45
Spring Gardening in Raised and Container Beds: 3/4 - 3/25/21 Thursdays 3:00 - 5:00 pm Cost: $55
Tiny Gardens at Their Best: 4/1 - 4/22/21 Thursdays 3:00 - 5:00 pm Cost: $55
Planting and Cutting Fresh Floral: 5/4 - 5/25/21 Tuesdays 3:00 - 5:00 pm Cost: $75
Backyard Poultry for Beginners: 5/6 - 5/27/21 Thursdays 3:00 - 5:00 pm Cost: $75
