Quilts by local quilters hang in the Whatley Center foyer in what is now an annual tradition for the NTCC art department. For the fourth consecutive year, quilters bring their treasured art to share with the community. The exhibit runs from Wednesday, Nov. 6 through Monday, Nov. 25. A reception is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center foyer, and refreshments will be served.
Last year, quilters from the local Five Points Quilters, individuals and NTCC faculty/staff members brought 28 quilts for this exhibit.
“It is always a great pleasure to share the beauty and skill of our local quilters in the Whatley Center foyer,” Debbie Strong, NTCC Associate Professor of Art, said.
The public is invited to view the exhibit during regular business hours, but please call ahead to 903-434-8181 to ensure the gallery is open.
