Power outage planned for Aug. 5, registration moved to Whatley Center

† † † Northeast Texas Community College will have a construction-related power outage on most of its campus this Friday, Aug. 5. Student Services and the business office will remain open, but will be working out of the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts from 8 a.m. to noon.


† † † ?We apologize for this inconvenience. Our campus is currently undergoing major renovations and there are times when disruptions are necessary. Our staff will work hard to make sure students are able to take care of business efficiently in the temporary location,? Dr. Josh Stewart, NTCC Vice President for Student and Outreach Services, said.


† † † Students will be able to see advisors, register for classes, meet with financial aid, make payments, drop off documents, etc. The College Store will be closed, but a representative will be available in the Whatley Center to take textbook orders. Testing will be closed Friday.†Texas A&M University-Texarkana at NTCC (UHS building) will not be affected by the outage.


† † † NTCC is currently enrolling for the Fall 2016 semester, which begins August 22.
