The Northeast Texas Community College Art Department will host an artist reception Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Attendees will have the†opportunity†to view†Refined by Fire, a display of pottery by Karen Lowrey of Longview. The artist will meet†with guests, discuss her work and take questions. The exhibit will be on display through Oct. 30 and is open to the public†Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
