NTCC to host job fair

Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) will host a job fair on Tuesday, September 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Building (SUB) on the main NTCC campus. The event is free to the public. More than a dozen local and regional employers will be in attendance.


?We realize that the job market is tough right now. We are offering this fair as an opportunity for job seekers to meet face to face with area hiring managers,? Alex Ortega, NTCC Advisor/Recruiting Specialist, said. ?We have had good success with these events in the past and we generally end up having between 20 and 30 local employers represented.?


So far, the following organizations are slated to attend: Aflac, Brookshires, Century 21, Herbalife Health and Nutrition, Diamond C Trailers, Dallas Police Department, Family and Court Services, Inc., Family and Protective Services, Hiring Partners, Jordan Health Services, Lowes RDC, Mt. Pleasant Police Department, Newly Weds, Pilgrim?s Pride Corporation, Priefert Mfgt., Snap Fitness, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, The Onin Group, Trans Texas Tire LLC and Visiting Angels.
