The Northeast Texas Community College family and community are invited to help the Eagles Soccer Team extend their very successful season by cheering them on in the first-round playoff game of the NJCAA Region 14 Tournament.††NTCC will host Laredo College on Friday, Oct. 31 at 3 p.m. on the Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) campus.
†The Eagles Soccer team capped off the season with a 2-0 win over San Jacinto College giving them first place in Region 14.††The Eagles ended the regular season ranked sixth in the nation and have a record of 16-2-1.††The first place finish gave them the top seed which includes home field advantage for the first round of playoffs.†In the season ending game against San Jacinto, Salvador Valencia defended his goal against five of five attempts. †Eagles†Daniel Nevarez and Adrian Cruz each scored a goal in the second half of the game, both assisted by Rimario Gordon, giving the Eagles a 2-0 win.
