Northeast Texas Community College held the 26th Annual Scare Affair Halloween carnival on Saturday, Oct. 19. Pictured are top picks from the costume contest. Winners in the adult category included Brandon Sarmientos of Mount Pleasant (native American), who won second place; and John Sarmientos, Krislyn Pierce (pirates) and Kyri Sarmientos (parrot) of Mount Pleasant who won first place.
