It is that time of year when the weather can be unpredictable in this area. As we have already seen in December, severe winter weather can sneak up on us. Northeast Texas Community College wants to make sure that all students and employees have access to timely, accurate information regarding possible weather-related closures.
In case of bad weather, the decision to close or not will usually be made by 6 a.m. for day classes and by 3 p.m. for evening classes. †If the campuses are closed or classes cancelled, the†official notice will be on the main NTCC phone number (903-434-8100) and the NTCC homepage (www.ntcc.edu).Messages will also be posted to the official NTCC Facebook page (www.facebook.com/NTCCeagles) and on Twitter (@ntcceagles).
Information about closure or delays will also be sent to the stations listed below. However, since we do not control what radio or TV stations do with our messages, we urge you to consult the official college sources (phone or web).

Ultimately, we urge both students and employees to put their own safety first. Since many people commute to our campus from some distance, weather conditions may vary.
