Six students recently completed the fire†academy at Northeast Texas Community College. They were honored during a†graduation ceremony held in the Student Union Building. The†graduates and instructors are pictured back row (from left):†Captain Brad Eubanks; Jarod Crawford of Jefferson; Aaron Johnson of Talco; Andrew Thrasher of Powderly; Captain Danny Beard; and Chief Larry McRae. Pictured front row (from left) is:†Harrison White of Dekalb; Colton House of Mount †Pleasant; and Colby Keener of Mount Vernon.†These students are now eligible to†take the Texas Commission on Fire Protection Exam to complete certification.†The next NTCC Fire Academy will begin in January 2013.
