PURPOSE
The Continuing Education Student Support Specialist will work to assist the team to achieve the goals and objectives of the Continuing Education & Corporate Training department by performing a variety of office duties requiring detail and accuracy.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares and maintains grant funded student records, grant partner information, as well as required grant reporting.
- Coordinates the preparation of state-required and other statistical reports, as well as required grant funded reports.
- Organize and host informational sessions to educate students on available certificate programs and associated support services
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of introductory support services provided to certificate students
- Assist with designing and updating brochures, flyers, news releases, newspaper ads, and college website and maintaining web schedule to promote classes as needed
EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Associate's Degree Required
- Minimum of two (2) years in a secretarial, clerical, or related experience preferred
